Sloppy Agape

Proverbs 21:27
"The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination. How much more when he brings it with wicked intent."

This verse stuck out in my mind when I read about Rick Warren, author of "The Purpose Driven Life", inviting Barack Obama to speak at an AIDS conference he was putting on.
Barack Obama is a senator from Illinois who unashamedly supports the killing of the unborn.

Whatever good he may work at doing -- it is an abomination.

For a Christian leader like Warren to so publicly embrace Obama is sad.
We must remember -- abortion is the systematic killing of the innocent.

Say that in your head a hundred times... no a thousand times. Then write it down just as many.

Only then will we see with moral clarity the Barack Obamas of our day who support helping fight a disease that has killed 40 million over almost 40 year but fight with the same vigor to keep legal a practice that murders 40 million children every year.

That is why the Proverb says, "The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination."
